Introducing the Solar Shelf, an architectural light shelf, for use with Vistawall’s CW-250 and Reliance Curtain Wall products. The system is field installed onto the interior of the curtain wall to deflect daylight deeper into the building, thus reducing demand for artificial lighting and associated energy costs. Solar Shelf is comprised of extruded aluminum struts with .090 panels set between a wall mount and continuous cover. The Solar Shelf may be ordered in depths up to 30” and with three standard interior covers or custom covers to fit your project requirements.
When used in conjunction with Solar Eclipse sunshades, additional energy savings can be realized.
